IT Lead

As an IT Lead, you are part of the leadership team and co-responsible for the delivery teams based in NL, as well as the Service Desk (5 fte). You lead a team of ~20-35 people plus external consultants. You work closely with the other leaders, product owners, architects, scrum masters and stakeholders to deliver the Agile portfolio for customers. You make high performing teams more effective and increase employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our Scrum teams (25-30 FTEs) and their tech leads using your coaching skills and empowering self-organized teams;
• Drive our Agile and Lean transformation to improve efficiency in the delivery of Tech solutions;
• Improve guidelines and principles for the DevOps and Agile way of working and promote these in your delivery teams; 
• Ensure the IT solutions provided are up to date, in line with the business strategy and well-measured; 
• Strengthen the software delivery life cycle management and professionalize all processes;
• Your day-to-day focus is team effectiveness, recruiting & development, Agile way of working and capabilities needed 
• Implement the tech strategy to accomplish strategic ambition, together with the international peers and outsourcing partners 
• Set up the Service Desk unit from a structure, tooling and personnel point of view 

You have/are:

• Experience managing and developing Tech teams (around 20-35 FTE) and growing organizations;
• Highly developed interpersonal, advisory and communication skills to be able to work effectively with individuals and a range of stakeholders to promote change and build bridges;
• Strong technical understanding and can deep-dive in technical or architecture discussions;
• In-depth knowledge of the agile framework & DevOps;
• Able to operate at a very senior level with authority, credibility and confidence;
• Know how to transform strategy, ideas and plans into reality; 
• Proactive and creative problem-solving skills;
• Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity, as change is our constant factor.
